Louis Vuitton x Star Wars. An Unusual Art

What does the illustrious Italian designer Louis Vuitton and everyone's favourite distant galaxy have in common? Well, not much, and its exactly that weird-cum-wow juxtaposition that has attracted Indianapolis-Based (USA) sculptor Gabriel Dishaw. Artistically reinterpreting some of Star Wars' iconic film characters, the collaborative collection features Lord Vaders, C3-PO, Ren Solo and an Imperial Walker, and in each the well-known golden LV pattern can be found.

Designed and made by upcycling all sorts of materials such as computer chips, wiring and bags, the vintage-inspired Louis Vuitton x Star Wars objects are definitely more complete than their constituent parts, and these works of art are curiously wonderful. On display at the Indiana State Museum's IMAX cinema for the showing of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, are these but worth a visit on their own? Oh, and SATORI & SCOUT guess that the film is kind of okay too. Discover more about the artist online at: GabrielDishaw.com
