Turquoise Scandinavian Furniture

Minimalism is great, and adopting an admiration towards the finer things is one step closer to the aspirational lifestyle. A two part furniture series, designed by Tatu Laakso, a young designer from Finland, her latest project focuses on compact living, making best use of small spaces with high efficiency.

Form follows function is a terminology that SATORI & SCOUT often refer to, and Tatu's designs are very much aligned with such thinking. With a side table and clothes storage that is everything else in between, their multi-functionality allows them to be adapted to anybody's differing needs. The Kvan side table allows the organisation and storage of items beside the bed or couch, but then features a removable board to be alternatively used as a movable tray, for breakfast in bed or nighttime reading, etc. Likewise, the Kvan clothes storage is a temporary clothes store for everyday clothes, where you can place items of laundry on it's frame rather than any sofa or chair, and upon becoming dry enough to be washed, can be simply vertically dropped into a nicely featured laundry bag, which in turn is removable from such a strategic location.

Whether a permanent storage unit or laundry bag, a temporary bed rest or clothes store, Kvan's designs are certainly wonderfully coloured and styled materialistically. Discover more about the design and purchase online at: TatuLaakso.com
