Reducing Plastic Waste, Try AWA Carbonated Sodas At Home

Did you know 95% of a given soda is water? As in, H2O. The stuff in your tap! So why are we shipping bottled water around the world? We’re already used to making coffee and tea at home just by adding water. So why not make sodas at home?

Introducing AWA. Pronounced the same way you read it: Awa, Like Awawawawa. You got it. It's founders Thomas is from the French Riviera and Cival is from a tiny island in the Caribbean, Curaçao (where the word “Awa” means “Water”). AWA are all about water, they want to dive it, drink it, kitesurf it, and also protect it. As such, AWA exists to make tools for you to make sparkling water at home. But that’s not all they dream about.

It's founders are adventure and extreme sports junkies, getting a kick out of being wild outside, and they want to make sure their kids can do the same. Of course, they'd love to solve problems that change the world, make it a better place and what-not, but the magical thing is that the mission that sticks in your gut never comes by choice; you just do it and feel good about it. One step at a time AWA can be part of the solution, and so can you.

If there is one realisation that AWA's founders couldn't shake during their travels it’s the speed at which nature is degrading. The world is seeing more plastic waste than animals and everyone is getting fed up. Whilst AWA could go on preaching about nature because let’s face it, we all know plastic waste is a problem, it is their opinion that the world is just lacking better solutions. So, introducing the AWA carbonator, helping us all to staying hydrated at a convenience. AWA's official mission is to help people stop buying crates of sodas/sparkling water and instead make drinks at home. Anyone who uses AWA products will be having a good impact on their body and the world, whether they want to or not.

AWA really want to kick 'big soda’s' ass. By that, sodas and bottled water are terrible for your health and one of the biggest causes of emissions globally. Think about the immense waste in energy required to ship drinks around the world. It’s 2022 and it's nuts that we’re still ignoring the signs.
