Down By The Moonriver (Home)

There can be nothing more aspirational than personal space and confidence in one's self, and the latest small home design that SATORI & SCOUT have scouted is one that certainly acute to a fairytale setting. Offering no obnoxious frills, no non-native design features and with the ability to be set almost anywhere (except in the actual river), this Moonriver home is well worth a consideration to inspire you for your next home expansion or lifestyle change.

Manufactured by Pircher Oberland, a company that specialises in the development of prefabricated wood products, they contacted Hangar Design Group to create such a mobile home, wanting to expand their portfolio away from just indoor and outdoor furniture pieces (and some structural designs).

Part of a larger collection of homes by Hangar Design Group, the Moonriver eclipses the merit's of the entirety. Named The Movit Series, the collection of homes received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro (golden compass) Award, an Italian award that recognises excellence in industrial design, and you can probably see why.

Superbly cosy and mute in humbleness, each Moonriver home is to be built to CasaClima's Class A certification, which entails taking into account energy-saving and ecological methods of construction, as well as the usage of renewable energy sources as much as possible. Of good design and even better ethics, fancy living down by the Moonriver (Home)?
