The South West Four (SW4) Bank Holiday Weekend

"...With heavyweights Above & Beyond and Carl Cox, the weekend promises to be full of sensual experiences and emotional highs..."

Continuing on from our feature of Glastonbury’s recent lineup announcement, South West Four (or SW4 for short) has equally recently announced an incredible list of artists for its 2016 festival on the Bank Holiday Weekend of 27th – 28th August in Clapham, London. With headliners that include Rudimental, Dizzee Rascal, The Chemical Brothers and Paul Kalkbrenner assisting heavyweights Above & Beyond and Carl Cox, the weekend promises to be full of sensual experiences and emotional highs.

With their famously dazzling light displays, unique and quirky side-entertainment and the usual attending Clapham crowd all well-known characteristics of the festival, it is easy to see why South West Four has justifiably been a 2008, 2013, and 2014 UK Festival Awards nominated music scene. Other DJ’s that promise to be present across the two days include Armand Van Helden, A-Trak, Bakermat, Bondax, Claptone, Damian Lazarus, Flux Pavilion, Gorgon City, Knife Party, Nero, Netsky, Noisia, Maribou State, Redlight, Sub Focus, Will Saul, and many more well-celebrated artists.

With tickets at around £60 per day, the pricetag is worth itself fives times over. Responsible for developing some of the world’s most promising breakthrough talent into drum and bass, dance and house music genre’s greatest artists over the years, South West Four represents seminal and timeliness classics as much as young and fresh talent. The host’s success is second to none, and we cannot recommend this festival highly enough for you to expand your music tastes and simply enjoy what some of the world’s best artists have to offer…have fun!

All South West Four tickets can be purchased online at SouthWestFour.com.
