There can often never be much better than the notions of nature, peace and love, and Karina Eibatova’s art collaboration with boutique hotel Casa Cook is really beautiful and quite worth a view. Drawn to feature motifs of nature and animal life, Russian artist and illustrator Eibatova’s creation is up to its canopy with wonderfully enchanted animals and jungle landscape. Positioned upon a large scale tiled wall for the restaurant and reception area of the Casa Cook hotel in Rhodes (Greece), the jungle landscape features luscious green foliage and a mixture of genuine and imagined wildlife. The botanical life.
Born in Leningrad (Russia), Eibatova leads a nomadic lifestyle and specialises in drawing, illustration, murals, video, calligraphy and typography. With a versatile portfolio, Eibatova’s colourful and surreal explorations are influenced by Earth and space as she delicately transforms floral motives into her own surreal and psychedelic scenes, always wishing to rebel “…against the remorseless actions of society and the continual destruction of the environment’, Eibatova explains.
An almost mural-like tiled artwork, the friendly wildlife can be seen wandering and rest through the trees, depicting enchanted animals that form a more than creative backdrop to the eatery and hotel. Reflecting the vibrant, bohemian character of the hotel and its natural landscape that draws from the unique flora and fauna of the surrounding environment, the artwork is a fantastic addition to the accommodation and wonderfully captures the hearts of all its visitors. A boutique hotel for the bohemian lifestylers, Casa Cook’s aim is to set a new standard among holiday resorts that inspire like-minded travellers, and SATORI & SCOUT definitely think that this has been more than achieved. Are you a traveller that thrives on style and well-being?
