70’s Cabinette For A Delicious Working Environment

"...New to Valencia, the Cabinette co-working space is perfect for all the creative and artistic disciplines, and offers a delicious environment to create, to work and to build ideas..."

When you think of a working space, too often would we instantly think of a dull, uninspiring space? Co-working brands have begun springing up across the world with most going above and beyond to make their spaces as creative as possible. Who even needs the daily binmen outside as a distraction these days, such places have vendor machines, cafes, bars and lounge areas for that.

New to Valencia, the Cabinette co-working space is perfect for all the creative and artistic disciplines, and offers a delicious environment to create, to work and to build ideas. Complete with designer furniture full of velvet and a 70’s vibes inside, tranquillity and green areas can be found outside.

A creative capsule designed by Masquespacio and inspired by the ‘sexy, lux and fun’ concept, Cabinette provides three meeting rooms, terrace, kitchen, phone-booths, all presenting a stimulating space to create new experiences. With a clear philosophy that stereotypes and cliches are not allowed, Cabinette is a place for those who run away from conventional spaces, for those who want to surround themselves with charisma and good and bright vibes, for those who seek to build ideas, and for design lovers.

Living somewhere between past and future, Cabinette is a space that transfers ideas and wisdom and allows it’s creative members the ability to build without limits.

The design began life with the aim to create an environment that inspires persons that want to break with regular ideas and the traditional life. As such, we can see in the main room how the picture frames and curtains are inverted to question the conventional and make the co-workers reflect about how we see ‘normal’ in our lives. On the other hand, you can recognise a clear nod to the past with an interior that brings the 70’s with a retrofuturistic look to the present as if the visitor would enter a time machine to be transported to the future in a space that seeks to transmit vibrant, joyful and unconventional energy. How poetic.

Simulateous to all this, you can feel a touch of irony in the space that connects perfectly with the different furniture and lighting items from Houtique with the Wink lamps, Arco chairs and Déjà-Vu stool. Last but not least, a reference to the movie ‘Playtime’ is to be highlighted with its representation of Paris from the 60/70’s in which the main character at one point of the movie has a meeting in an office full of ‘Cabinettes’ that are presented like a labyrinth in which he gets lost, ending up in an exhibition.

Designed by Masquespacio, this award-winning creative consultancy is headed by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse and combines the two disciplines of their founders, interior design and marketing. With this space one which is clearly design, fashion and trend-like focussed, SATORI & SCOUT applaud their boldness and creativity.

Innovation From COVID-19 Measures

In such times that we find ourselves in, it is great to see innovation come out of the pandemic. To make Cabinette safe, the designers have created unique work-stations with disinfection points added within the space's design. Likewise, the meeting room spaces and single-use kitchens have been laid out with safe distances in mind. Now, go create...
