When it comes to combining minimalism and quality, SATORI & SCOUT often enjoy audio as a go-to field for inspiration. With Bang & Olfusen perhaps our preferred brand, it's Scandinavian friend / competitor Urbanears is another to note highly, recently launching a range of wireless speakers that are paired-back designs and available in a variety of mono-colours.

Urbanears Stammen & Baggen Speakers
Available in two different sizes, Urbanear's Stammen and Baggen both offer a clean design in their cuboid shapes. With such a variety of colours and sizes, and their inherent shape, you can stack them high (like you mean it). With the aim of being able to match the interior decoration scheme of any one room to your desire, the Dirty Pink, Vinyl Black, Plant Green, Concrete Grey, Goldfish Orange and Indigo Blue certainly complement a colour-complement aesthetic.
Inspired by their own headphones that were launched in 2009 to "...create the industrial design equivalent of your favourite plain coloured T-shirt", the Stammen is a speaker design that is ideal for any bedroom, whilst the Baggen any living room, patio or living room environment. Complete with wi-fi technology, you can have a seamless streaming experience whilst the speaker blends itself into the wall paint background it stands aside. Supporting Spotify Connect, Airplay, Chromecast, Bluetooth and a 3.5-millimetre auxiliary cable, the speakers can be combined to create a multi-room experience. Not restricted to being able to only syncronise the same colour speakers, depending on which room the speaker can be found can dictate which speaker colours you so desire.
Keeping the design simple, the lack of audio knobs add to it's industrial design. Simplified like the days of dial-operated radios, as Oscar Axhede of Urbanears explains, "Urbanears is all about bringing people closer to technology. We wanted to create a listening experience that would bring the best of sound and connectivity into people's homes, without the hassle of trying to figure out how to make the technology work."
